There is a JD 530 Round baler on an auction next week. What size bale does it make? Are they a good baler? What would it be worth? It looks good in the picture. I am curently using a Veermer 605F.

Thanks.

It's agood baler. Shake the pickup, If there is alot of movement it will need a pick rebuild, $500-1000. If the belts have the first traction segment worn down then it will not start hay when the hay is in drought conditions. A set of belts is $1600 JD balers need all the traction on the diamond tread belts because the belts turns the bale 100%. You Vermeer has a bottom drum roller to turn the hay.
