Has anyone ever attempted to build a loader for a tractor by using a design from "CAD Plans"? If so how difficult is it and how useful is the finished product? I would like to give it a try but for the price of the plans and the parts and my time spent welding and cussing, it seems like it would be cheaper finding a used loader. Any imput would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to find a tractor that can handle a loader, and go buy one for it. Bush Hog and Allied both make loaders for most any tractor and you would be much better off. I have seen some of the CAD stuff, including pictures of a guy working on building one. Trust me, you could do more with a shovel and a can of Mountain Dew than the CAD loader can do for the time and money you have in it. Aaron

Where did you find the "CAD Plans"? I have thought about building my own loader and other implements.
