Seems like everyone on this board is into making hay for hobby or small herd of animals, and enjoys working on and with the old hay equipment. Was wondering what kind of interest there would be in having an annual hay get together in conjunction with big local tractor show near Peoria, IL. I would make a deal with the place to put in 20 or 30 acres of alfalfa and grass, then on a long weekend, we all get together, bring in our rigs, mowers, rakes, balers, tractors of all different vintages, and make hay, and spend a lot of time drinking lemonade and looking at and talking hay equipment. Then sell the hay for a donation to the place for the land use and facilities. Any support out there? Seems like Illinois would even be a pretty central place. Could even do it around the 4th of July when wheat is being combined and do some straw baling. What do you think?????

Every university with an AG school does this. I know of 30 shows in the south just like this. Not to mention The Sunbelt Farms Show, Four State Farm Show, Farm Progress and many others. You need to get out a little more and go to these farm shows you'll like it.
