Does anyone know where I can get new bill hooks for a MF 10? Would a set from NH or JD fit? Thanks for any help,
Alex Rogers

You might want to compare prices with a dealer up here. Your buck goes further but there might be duty on parts. If you want the name of the MF dealer I use (I have a MF #12) email me. HTH.

You can still get them threw a dealer. They are now sold as a kit( consists of a new billhook and spacer washer.)I own a few 10 balers and found that its not worth putting a used one on, buy a new one and be done with it, thanks Bill

So they are still available through Agco. I'd heard a rumor that they were discontinued, but I hadn't asked about a kit. I have a parts book for a 12 and it shows a kit for replacing the bill hooks and those parts are what it includes; the hook and washer.
How expensive are they?

Thank you,
Alex Rogers

Its been two years since I bought a new one, I think it was about 65.00 to 70.00 the model 12 uses the same billhook. the model 124 changed design all together. Do your self a favor and take the allen plugs out of the knotter system and the two main drive sprockets and put grease fittings in and grease them good once a year, Bill
