The left knotter on my 24T ties every knot, but every other bale the knot pulls apart. The right knotter never misses a tie. Any idea how to make the adjustment so I can stay up on the tractor?

Sounds to me like a worn key in the left intermittent knotter disc, on the shaft, causing it to 'lag', hence be out of time, just slightly. Check for movement. An oversize key should help.
