It's that time of year again. I have 10 acres with a lot of oak and pecan trees. They have started lossing their leaves. Last year I raked them up by hand. (aged 10 years in doing so) Is there an implement that will connect to a tractor(8N) that will sweep up the leaves? What's it called? How does it work?

Thanks, AlanH

Don't know of one that attaches to a 3-point hitch, but the slickest thing for cleaning up leaves is a vacuum that sucks 'em up, shreds 'em, and deposits them in a hopper. Once shredded, they make great compost. I've seen good-sized rigs that tow behind lawn tractors.

Ive seen giant leaf blowers used at golf courses that are 3 pt hitch. i bet they cost big bucks and may be to costly for ya. A home made leaf shredder and and cart may be a perfect winter project.
