Concern about Safety

Just a short note to say thanks to everyone who has expressed concern about safety issues regarding the logging winch. My real job is in stage work and education and I have noticed, despite the eye rolling that OSHA often generates, that safety issues in general are much more at the forefront in all occupations than ever before. And most of these concerns are being held by the actual workers. For instance I have noticed that most loggers now use hearing protection even on their own lots. I almost fell over the other day when I worked a stage call to build a large temporary stage and the local had hard hats for everybody! and fall protection for anything over 6'. Times have sure changed and for the better in this regard
