I have a Du-All 250 on my AC WD-45 Diesel. Good tough loader. I use it mostly to handel my round bales and load fertilizer. Only problem is the cylinder packing. Woods doesen't supply packing and the upgrade seal kit is hard to fit. PK

I really like the looks of those 250s and 345s. Look like a great loaders.

Al,

I always thought they were a little "over-built", too heavy and the hydraulics were designed a little too "quick"; always worried about 'em being a little rough on a tractor's front end, but I gotta say that they are one tough outfit.

On the other hand, you don't see 'em all welded up & sprung out of shape after lots of heavy use like a lot of these old Farmhands are.

Can't ever remember anyone having anything bad to say or anything major wrong with 'em. They're definitely a good, strong outfit.

How big of an IH is under it?

Allan

It is mounted on a 1959 International 240. The right cylinder had been serviced w/new seals. Having the tractor/loader steam cleaned and the left cylinder serviced. I haven't found any info on the loader yet other than the logo on the right side. From the comments here, it should hold up and I'm sure I will be happy with it.

Du-All was a popular brand of loader up North, made in Sioux Falls, SD.

Woods took them over, and some of the model numbers are still the same.

Here"s a link to Woods. You can find dealer locations, and under the "products" drop-down menu, you"ll find loaders.

I have a DU-AL Front End Loader Model 1618 Series 100. I am looking for an owners/operators maintenance manual for this unit. For the time being I would like to know if anyone knows the amount of hydraulic fluid required for this loader
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
