I am wondering the pro's and con's of it, what kind of tracor is needed to pull it, if it will go through stubble or not?

Any replies would be nice.

Farm I worked on pulled on easily with his 4430 but soil was loose. maybe a 4640 or30 would be large enough what soil types do you have. and they go thru stubble like a hot knife in butter.

Some of it is clay-like and sandy. SW ND is where I farm. Planning on using 4455 to pull it.

That should pull it but ask allen in NE he has a lot more on what it takes to operate out west. Here in the midwest we have the black dirt then it goes to sand and rocks .But I belive you should not have any problems good luck. are you appling AA this fall or do you guys wait until spring? guy's here are getting antsy wet fall corn falling down and a lot of beans still standing in spots and rain forcasted for the next 4 days.

If have moisture some put down in fall and some do it anyway. I would like to start to apply in the fall if there is a rain or two after harvest every fall.

Where I live is the dividing line for our state an appling fall AA but to wet and to warm to even think about even dropping pin and going wild. But it's also a good thing it keeps the meth heads in town and not out here robbing us.

The meth has really been a hot subject in the fertilizer deparment when dealing with AA. Have to have locks on the tanks. All in all keeps everyone safe.
We might put AA down this weekend if all is good.
I am hoping to because I want to see if the tractor can pull a 24'implement. It should since pulled 20' 9450 hoe drills this spring. And wouldbe nice to have some fertilizing done before spring.

Is your state adding pink dye to tanks yet to stop meth heads yet. give it a couple of years the feds will add a fee on every nurse tank to help fight meth.

That I am not sure about. I do know that locks have to be put on if purchasing AA.

In ILL thety came up with a pink dye to put in nurse tank, but like every thing else probley just a time of waste and money. But around here to help a lot of fertlizer COs are leasing 4WDs and appling AA cheaper than you can yourself and that way all tanks get put up at night.

Does it have coulters. I have a very good 11 shank unit need to get rid of if that would help you any. It has brand new yetter coulter blades on it that have not even been in the ground yet. It will go thru the stubble alright. $1200.00
