Hi Mike,

Tried to buy it this morning; they wanted $3K. I've already told them that I need a yard full of machinery and will be buying off and on all winter long.

I was born at night, but it wasn't last night and that little deal just pushed me over the edge. Guess I shall shop elsewhere.

Allan

Hey,thats a 1065 Deere running gear. They don't make them anymore. The gear alone would bring $500 here. My neighbor would love to find a feed wagon like thatsince he uses a tractor loader in a bunker silo so the low sides would be great for that.

Yeah, I bought a Gehl wagon in like new condition(Silage wagon which is basicly the same thing) for only $450. I wouldn't give more than $250 for that one.

Just my $.02

Hi Dug!

Naw, I've used these things for years. Not a bit color blind on this end. :>)

I'm on a silly mission to get all the stuff back that I lost on that darned farm sale so many years ago.

Later,

Allan

Location, location, location.... You'd get maybe $150-200 tops for the running gear, the top junk would be in the grove as who ever uses those things???? Wouldn't bring $250 'here'.

'There' it's probably about right.

You're right about that (location). They go for better than a thousand here. Shoot a coat of oaint on it and it would bring $2000.

KY,

Went into town and tried to buy the silly thing thing this morning.

Try $3K.

Needless to say, I left it set; they didn't cost half that when brand new.

Next time I'm going to KC want me to bring one? :-). $3 grand? wow. I've seen them bring $2700 here but they were really nice. Of course I am quoting auction prices, not off the lot.

That"s an old 110, it looks like. Here, you can get a nice 716A on a JD 12-ton tandem running gear for $3500 or so. Last spring I bought a JD 216 on a 1065 running gear in about the same shape for $500, and mine has extensions and the 3rd beater on it.

Alan, the running gear would be worth $300 alone so the outfit isn't a bad deal at$700 or so. I'd give you $700....delivered.....Looks like a fair price to me...Mike in Exeter Ontario
