I am planning on using a plate type planter for pumpkins. I have some blank plates, but need help in deciding how to grind the holes. I have both large and small seeds. Are there dimensions that would be close for the seeds?

I have a JD 490 that we use for Pumpkins, also made my own plates.I made mine so they plant on 5ft. centers as I use large seed type most of the time.I will e-mail size and location of notches if interested.

I would appreciate the size and location of nocthes. I am actually using an AC planter, but have the adapter for the JD blanks.
