I need help, I have a Case plow which has two 14" moldboards. It has CASE stamped on each main piece of frame that the plow shers mount. I have looked all over it and can not find a model. It is painted sort of an Oliver green, I don't know if this is correct. Where is the data plate if there is one and what color is correct.

Your plow is probably a Case Centennial plow. They were built from the late thirties until the early fifties. They had a green frame and orange moldboards. Later ones had an orange and green frame. There is no identification tag on them.

Can't be of much help to you. The older Case machinery had some green paint. These old Case plows pulled one hell of a lot harder than their competitors.

Harder than what plows? I have a four bottom case pull type plow and I thought it pulled just fine.

Oliver is well thought of around here, followed by JD.

Oliver I have pulled and thought they were the easyest pulling plow. John Deere pull like a rock. I traded a 3x16 JD for a IH 4x14 the 4 bottom pulls easyer. I have a 4x14 Case that I like too. All plows are pull type and hydralic lifts.

He is right moldboards were a nice dark green, and like a case nut of a friend once said "it takes a case tractor to pull a case plow"I dont know if that part is true or not but boy do they pull hard.Last case plows were built to case specs by oliver corp.

Built to Case specs but using the easier pulling Oliver style bottom. Ford plows from around 1980 on were the same way . . .

We had a brand new on land hitch Case plow in 1978 had factory reps out to look at could not pull it with a case 2470 or 2670 both would just spin the wheels or bounce even with fluid in the wheels finally traded it for a D.M.I which happens to run oliver bottoms also. That way at the time we could carry bottoms for every plow we owned.
