Thanks,

Allan

Thanks,

I was just asking how much the silly thing will hold so that I can plan my storage.

If I remember right, you take the volume in cu. ft. X .8 to get bushels. It has bee anumber of years since I sold Butler bins, but I think that weas the formula.

Sure looks like a 1350 to me. I have 10 W-R s that are 1350's. If it's 14 ft in diameter then I'm sure that's what it holds. This of course is based on standard bushel weights.

Allan,

I would say it is 1500 bushel or a little bigger. We used to have a old 1000 bushel bin and the door stoped about right at the roof line. I can get you the formula to figure out how many bushels a bin holds tomorrow at work if you would like.

Hi Wil,

That's kinda what I remembered. The "three-ring" was a 1200 bushel and the 4 ring around 1500 in the smaller diameter size.

Thanks,

Allan

what are the actual dimensions? it looks closer to 1500 if not larger to me. i'm just picturing a 285 bu. wagon in front of it, then considering the size of the door....pure guess. mine is smaller and it's only 1000 bu.

a bushel is 1.25cubic feet acrding to my science formula book.

so Hight x Pi x (radius x radius) divided by 1.25
