I am new to this and I am in the process of buying a 52 Farmall Super C. I was wondering what implements could be used with this particular tractor. It appears to have a 2 - point hitch system with a draw bar. Are all available implements going to be belly mounted? I am interested in snow removal and small garden plowing with it. Any assistance or insight would be appreciated.

What you have on the back of your C is, as FM has pointed out, a 2pt "fast-hitch". I have just such and animal on my IH350U, but my mower, blade, and toolbar are all class I and II 3pt tools. What to do? What to do?

Solution: Worksaver (on the web) has heavy bars with a ball socket (that swivels to accept either a class I or class II pin). These snap directly into the fasthitch lift arms. They also have a plat that bolts high and centrally located above you PTO shaft to mount the required 3rd link.

I have seen the ball socket lift arm extensions at TSC also, but you will probably have to do a bit of Southern engineering to make up a third link bracket.

For tractors (such as my 560) that do not have a "fast-hitch", both worksaver and saginaw have complete axle mounted add-on three pt systems.

3pt is the way to go to use commercially available new implements. This setup also does not preclude you from pulling the lower lift arm extensions and using true fast-hitch implements, should manage to acquire something at a sale somewheres.

Thanks for all of your insights. I have since posted another question in reference to the two point hitch system and the fast hitch. Any insight that could be shed for this newcomer? Again, thanks to both of you.
