Just wondering if anybody has tried using lace-up belts on the bottom of a 510 John Deere baler. Manual says to use continuous belts but the machine has to be dissmantled to change them out. If it would work I would like to try lace-up belts. Thanks Wayne

have not looked at my 410, how much trouble is it to replace the bottom belts? would the newer diamond tread design work more efficiently?

I had to put belts on the bottom of a 510 I had. Was thinking the same as you. Talked to a belt supplier and he told me that alot of people he sold those belts to put on lace type and they worked ok for them. I went with endless though. Didn't want to stray away from design.
Good luck and be safe.

I put lace type belts on my old John Deere 410 baler and they worked fine, Make sure they are adjusted to run straight
