got a ? for yall. i've got one of those old harry ferguson disc plows with the 2 big disc, looks like a bottom plow. the hitch bar is gone but i've got a solid piece of round stock that i could use for the lift points. the question is can i use a straight piece of cold roll steel or do i need to have a machinist bend the right side down like on the bottom plows? and what difference does it make if the hitch is angled on the one side or just straight?

I don't have an answer, however most tractor 3-point hitches have an adjustable right linkage where you could raise or lower that side and achive the same result, if the angle is needed.

I got one of the disc plows with the same setup I use for the garden spot.
I don't think the lift arms will adjust far enough to correct the adjustment problem. Mine won't.
I can measure the offset for the lift pins if you would like Hunter. When mine is out of level on the sides adj, it either goes extremely too deep, or it won't go deep enough.
