Hi,
Burrhead, I have been looking around and rereading the post from before. I was wondering if you could please send me pics of the bushhog and some info on it. Can it be used for mowing and cutting hay? If you would prefer to email me that is fine. I really like the idea. What kind of bushhog is it finish rotary or what?

It's just a regular cheap Howse brand bushhog.
I'll try to get it up where I can take a picture tomorrow or the next day, we're busy on fences and have the tractors away from here right now.
I'll email or post it if you tell me how to do it. I've got the scanner and all here, I just never learned to use it yet.

Thanks for replying,
What is your email address? I will email you instructions on scanning. So it is actually a bRushhog made by Howse and not made by bushg or what?

I never did figger out how to post more than 1 pic without linking. Happy hunting. If you need more info just holler.
I used a Howse brand because its so much cheaper than a Bushhog brand, and it's heavy duty enough to cut hay.
It mows and conditions at one pass and is a heck of a lot faster than a sickle bar cutter.
Its not as fast as a disc bar cutter, but you don't have to have as big of a tractor to pull a bushhog as you would need with a Kuhn, Vicon or similar type due to wieght of cutters, and it will condition the hay better than a moco.

thanks for the pic,
could you send one at a different view, maybe from the top, you cut off the left side? Is this a Howse brushhog or a howse finish mower, or a howse rotary cutter or what. Thanks
