I am running a Duall 203B 3 pt backhoe off my tractor.I have just rebuilt the control valve as it blew (tractor is an open center system). I am suspect that the backhoe was converted to a closed center system.I ran compressed air in the inlet and it did not flow through. Making me nervous that it is just time before I blow a valve again, or worse if I use the power beyond block that I blow the pump.Does anyone have any advice, direction? I have pictures of the setup and can email them. The unit does work, however you can hear the tractor bog a bit when the control valve activates the unit. Help!

It sure sounds like a little more investigation is in order. Depending on the valve manufacturer, you may be able to convert it back to open center without spending a lot of money.

I would not operate the backhoe until you have checked everything out. It sounds like the tractor system is going over relief when you power up the backhoe, which is not good.

Feel free to email some photos.

Good luck,
Scott
