Went to a farm that is being sold out. He had a JD430 round baler for $6950. He said it was a 1998 or 1999 year model. Is this correct year for this baler and what are used ones selling for ?

I'm inclined to believe it's probably a mid eighties model. I have a 535 that is an 89 model and it was preceded by a 530. I know that mine wasn't the first year model for the 35 series.

I am thinking the 430 is a little older than that. I would think it would have to be a 435 or 466 to be a late 90's.

I'm not familiar with John Deere balers, I was thinking maybe a late 80's.
