I'm just getting into toy tractors. Is there a web site that gives values of toys? What is the best book to buy? Thanks for the help.

Jack The Toy Farmer Magazine is the best mag as far as i am concerned. You may also consider the John Deere Two Cylinder Club. It is worthwhile since they put out a tractor every year for their club show and being a member you get a chance to order from them before the show thereby saving on the price. Dave Nolt of Nolt Enterprises at Gap, PA publishes a price guide annualy which is very good. He also issues a few toy tractors and equipment but they are very pricy, much more so than the precion classics Ertl issues. Then there is the John Deere Hertiage Center that has just started issuing a Precision Classic model each year. Over all tho I like the Toy Farmer mag it provides you with dealer advertisements with prices and lots of good articles. Happy collecting . I'm sure you will enjoy it because there are so many ways you can persue the hobby.
