I have a 1935 A John Deere with a custom powertrol on it. It has the foot levers on it instead of the hand control and was used for cultivators initially. Can the control valve body with remotes off a newer A B 50 or 60 be used on my tractor? I need to be able to use a remote cylinder. Thanks! PS. is there any way to use a remote on my valve body?

Kevin, would putting a Baker control box with remote outlets between your tractor powerlift give the ability to use remote cylinder.

Hey Kevin, most all those older (if original) ones I ever saw equipped with those foot pedals work where you kick one and it raises all the way and kicking the other lowers it. Its possible to change them over, I have seen some early models with newer power trol units on them. Good Luck n God Bless, let us know how it turns out. Ol John T Nordhoff

Kevin, are you sure it doesn't just have power-lift? [only all the way up & all the way down]. ~The late power-trol valve should fit but you might have to enlarge the hole in the rear housing that the throttle valve spring fits in.
