HEY EVERYBODY! i finally found a b in decent shape for the right price. im having fun with it, its my first popper. anyway, on the back is what im guessing is a hydraulic valve of some sort.its on the right hand side if you are looking at the back. there is a little bitty lever just above and it on the side of that back housing. there is a bolt in place of a plug, or i guess maybe the hydraulic coupling. it pulls out easy and has about a 4 or 6 inch shaft. when i engage the pto or lift, this thing leaks somethin fierce. can anyone tell me what this is, what its for, and/or how to fix it? it doesnt look like it would seal tight enough to keep the fluid from coming out. any suggestions? thanks!

lucky1, I really don't know what you have there. It sounds like someone might have substituted a bolt for one of your power-trol plugs [or remote outlet fittings]. You need the correct tight fitting plug [with an open front end] in both outlets for the rockshaft to operate..
I borrowed a picture from F-I-T to show you what you need, you will need 2 number 6’s for your rockshaft to operate. Or two number 26’s to use a remote cylinder.

What i am looking at looks to be a # 26, but it isnt tight enough to keep the hydraulic fluid in. do i need to replace it or any ideas? thanks!

lucky1, I really don't know what you have, the #26 is for a remote cylinder [only]. For the rockshaft to work you will need the open front #6. If you have the correct power-trol plugs for your power-trol valve box [there are different plugs for different P/T valve boxes] then you probably have leaking "O" rings that go inside the holes in the P/T valve. Those "O" rings are a pain to replace but nothing you can't handle. ~Pull both of your power-trol plugs out & take a look at them, if the front is closed they are for the remote cylinder, if they have an open front they are for use with the rockshaft [3-point].
~I'll send you a picture of the P/T valve body..
