Excellent picture Bguy and many thanks for your time. I picked up a loop draw bar, but didn't known if all I had to do was change out the straight draw bar. Nice paint job. What should I look for on a long frame B - same as a short frame B?

Thanks! Yea, the long frame is pretty much like the short frame and it would depend on the price and how much work you were willing to do as to what to look for. I like to find them mechanically sound, good motor, brakes, rear end and etc. The mag, carb, sheet metal and detail stuff is fairly easy to do yourself and parts/replacements are readily available. The 35 B in the picture looked pretty good when I bought it but was a mess inside. It had a cracked block and the brakes, bearings, seals etc were all worn out. I don't want to have to do all of that again and now I don't worry so much about looks as I do the heavy mechanical items. I am thinking about getting a 38 long frame B just so I'd have the first and last year of the unstyled B.

Bguy, Hear ya, don't have to be Jennifer Lopez on the outside. If you get over run with long frames let me know.

Ben, that is my creation. I machined out the brackets to fit between the cast letters and made the oak tread. Didn't want to scratch that fancy paint job,you know.
