being my first tractor can anyone tell me what the lever under the set are.there on the side of the housing. thanks

The man is right Walt sooner or later your are really going to need the manual, please don't put it off. As far as the lever is concerned, if you are talking about the one on the left side of the housing, that's your PTO control. There is another lever that is directly under the seat on the right side that is a depth control for the 3 pt. hitch. Get that manual.

"why don't you do yourself a favor is right".get a manual.for this one do this.while sitting on the seat pull up on the lever and stand pushing back on the seat as you do so .the seat slips back to the high and back postion so you can operate standing up and rest your butt.
