I have a DLTX 16 carb on my late unstyled AR. It seems to work ok, idle needle out 1 1/2 turns and load needle a short one turn. I have drilled out the threads to fit air pipe. I would like to know what the differences are between DLTX 16 and 19? Can the 16 be converted to a 19 by changing the nozzle? Does the economizer plug affect anything here? Thanks for any comments.

Johan, you really should call Roberts Carb [Phone: (712) 262-5311 ] to get the full details on the carb difference. Those carbs are designed for a different size engine so the throttle plate will probably be larger in that D carb. Usually the correct nozzle will be enough to get a decent functioning carb in most cases [that might not be the one from the 19 though].
~As far as the economizer goes, both the all-fuel & gasoline carbs use an economizer, it's just that the gasoline carb's use a fixed size built into the carb body & the all-fuel carb uses a replaceable economizer plug that has different sizes to accommodate different viscosity fuels.
~If you get that D carb functioning on that A let us know how it works out……….
