My husband's 1953 tractor is broken. It needs part m2495. Please let me know where I could find that part.

If you are looking for the final drive housing the # is AM2243T. It is not available from JD and no dealer shows it in stock. I also checked THE DEPOT and DPNI and no one has it. Try used parts
dealers. Good luck. Lloyd

Hi John:
JD parts shows M2495 as an invalid part number.. We need a little more inofrmation as to what it is. Please re-post with a little more detail and make sure you post the complete part number.. ie, M2495"T"..

John's wife:

I can't help you on the part, but for others who might be able to, it's the rear drop housing for Model 40 Standard, Utility, Special, and Two-Row Utility types.

Hope this info will help you get a recommendation for a parts source.
