Congratulations!!! Feels good, huh? I had so much fun with my boy that we decided to have another one. And another one. They're addictive! My boy #3 is due to pop out next month. My wife still won't let me name my kid the name that I like. Seems that the idea of having a kid named "Unstyled D" is unsettling to her. I'll never be able to figure out women.
Enjoy that little one. They sprout up fast.

Congrats!

Happiest day in my life was when my now 7 year old came along, so I know how you feel. Start saving your pennies. He'll be pestering you to find him an H or LA before long! Mine is!

That's great news, since the only thing that you can make a man out of is a baby boy! You'll be surprised at how early a kid can crank a JD. Those smooth flywheels are SO MUCH safer than a crank handle. I used to have to jump up on the flywheel of our '41 AW to roll it over when I was a kid, and I was always kind of surprised when it started. One side note: When the doctor pulls that little baby out and you can see that little periscope sticking up..... .....visualize wrecked cars.

Congrats! I've got 3 boys 9 years old and under myself, and we're working on a '35 A. In another year, your little guy will want to play with all those shift and throttle levers on your A. Then he'll be hooked on old iron for life.
