Wayne, the LP is started on vapor. You turn the vapor valve open slowly and make a normal start. After tractor is warm, open liquid valve then close vapor. If it gets to low on fuel the only thing that will happen is that the engine will stop. You should get a operators manual on your 70 for refueling instructions. I know how but my typing is not good enough to explain it. Your local LPG dealer can show you and can get a lot of the parts you may need. When I am going to park the tractor I switch from liquid to vaper on the way to the shed. You should turn the valve off and let the tractor run out of fuel and die before you turn the switch off. If it is on vapor this only takes about 5 seconds. If your still on liquid it seems like forever before it runs out.
