3020 loader

i am adding a loader to my 3020 and i bought the special filter cover with the port for the return oil.
i tried to install it yesterday and found that the original cover bolt is way too short.
i measured the new housing against the original and it is a full 1.25 thicker so no threads can catch.
has anyone had the same problem? i would think that they would supply a longer bolt with the kit. the kit had the large gasket, two o-rings for the return port? and an o-ring for the bolt.
my next concern is if by adding a longer bolt the spring behind the filter will have any pressure on it? thanks,

no go, if you use the longer housing the filter will not seal. maybe the longer (and finer) 40 series filter can fit.

jd ordered me the "correct" bolt. that only took three days. by the way it was 1 inch shorter than the original one which was 1.25 inch too short so i made one from all-thread and added another spring to hold the filter tight.
also , it seems jd is hitting me with $8 freight charges for every stinking nut and bolt they have to order because they don't have any inventory.
