What are the warning signs that the power steering pump is going bad on a 4520. And if it is bad should I have it repaired or replace it?

Your power steering pump on a 4520 is your hydralic pump and supplies oil to all functions, so if you have remotes, 3 pt, etc the pump is ok, there is the steering motor on the end of steering wheel under the dash, we have taken them to dealer to be rebuilt because of leaks, it may be your problem, there probably is a priority valve also but somebody else smarter than I will need to coach you on that,,what does the steering do ???? Do the front steering cylinders leak ?

The cylinders on the front do leak, some, the tires turn slower than the speed you turn the steering wheel. Three point lifts real good, far as I can tell the hydraulics work good, and the fluid level is where it is supposed to be, and there are no leaks from the steering motor under the dash. I just recently purchased this tractor, am trying to get the bugs out of it. Any information would be appreciated.
