2510 powershift-47 loader,having to replace coupler between crankshaft and front pump about 100 to150 hours.main use of tractor is to move 6/5 bales to hay storage.loader hooked to rear remote.any ideas? thank you.

Check the frame rail bolts and make sure they are not loose.

sorry mind on next project when profreading. coupler only strips at pump end ,have replaced all bolts and stud,bushings at c/shaft.all parts jd.does not look out of round or out of line.pump splines feel ok, (but) dont know what it should look ,feel,or measure out to be.only noise it ever makes is squeel as coupler starts to strip

Hey Joe, if the cast coupler is stripping out then the splines are more than likely shot on the pump shaft.

YOU NEED TO CHECK THE ALUMINUM COUPLERS EACH TIME FOR WEAR AND REPLACE THE BUSHINGS AND POSSIBLY THE SPECIAL BOLTS THEY GO ON AS WELL. ALSO CHECK THE PUMP BRACKET BOLTS FOR TIGHT AS WELL AS THE CAST COUPLER SPLINES. HOPE THIS HELPS.

either loose bolts and/or broken or missing dowells between engine and pump support.
