Just installed hood decals on my MT. I ended up with 3 letters with small air bubbles in em. Could I use a hair dryer to heat the letter and squeege out the air bubbles? Would this work, or is there a better way???
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thank You..... J.

leave it out in the sun for a day. that is the best advise which will work. worked for me on several decal applications.

I would put the tractor out in the sun for a day and see what happens before i did anything else. i know that the sun will get out most of the bubbles

that can be a problem. Probably the choices are to take a sharp edge and try to loose the decal then reapply removing the air bubble or take a needle and make a small hole and rub the air out or just try to rub the decal and get the air out. Your trying to make the best of a bad situation. Good luck.

Travis Jorde recomends letting it sit overnight and you will find that the air will escape by itself as the vinyl will allow the air to pass thru. If you try to force it out you could ruin the decal.

I would not use a hair dryer, that vinyl will heat up and curl quick. I have always been able to get the small bubbles out by pricking with a needle and rubbing the air out. You will never see the needle prick. A little time out in the sun will help also.
