We have a 720 LPG tractor that suddenly quit running the other day. We have checked everything and are getting fire through the plugs. We have fuel down to the converter but not out of there. We have the converter off of the tractor now and are wondering how hard they are to work on. Can you buy a kit for them? JD here said we can't buy a kit but have to order the parts piece by piece.

Any ideas?

Century convertor rebuild kits are easily available from any propane supplier that will go to the trouble of looking it up and ordering it for you. Figure around $50. + - for the rebuild kit. On the face of the convertor it will tell you model/horsepower number. I've rebuilt two and they are not difficult. Follow the directions to the letter.

you could possibly have a hole in the diaphragm which wouldnt let fuel thru.they are not hard to work on.take the 6 or so screws out of the front side, carefully take the top off,do not tear the diaphragm.unhook it from the fuel valve and hold it up to sunlight to see if you can see light thru it.
