Could this manure spreader be the first made because the serial # is 1? How do the serial #'s work? What is the year of this spreader? Tell me what you know.
Thanks
Karen

F-I-T is right. We have a R spreader on the farm too. It is series #1 That is not a serial number.

Karen:

I think that stands for "Series 1". I have a 45W loader that is a Series 1. Not sure if they even made a series 2.

We used to have a 507 rotary mower ser.#1,So did the neighbor ser.#1. Saw one at a sale 2 weeks ago ser#1. I think on some of the old equipment they just used #1 until some changes were made to it requiring different parts then they started numerically numbering them.
