Anyone ever put those add-on cutting edges on a 148 loader bucket? How well do they work? Do they go on the inside or outside of the bucket? Thanks for any info.
Joe

I've replaced mine at least twice and it's due again. Buy edge at a local machine shop and weld on like the others said. I cut the side pieces a bit long- so they stick up a few inches. Very handy 'lip' for moving round bale feeders, gates, etc.

Put them outside and wrap the ends like the previous post stated. Generally on ag-loaders their purpose is also to physically stiffen the bucket lip not just be a wear guard.

I had a welder friend put a new cutting edge on our 158 loader bucket they go on the out side and wrap up around the out side. We used a better quailty and heavier duty than the original.
