Hi I have a 52 A with some transmission Problems and I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a supplier for replacement parts (salvage or new)
I need the following
a3803r- gear , countershaft Idler (sub for aa5430r) 35 and 22 teeth.

a4024r- Gear 4th & 6th speed sliding ( sub for aa5449r) 34 teeth

a2623r- Pinion, 5th & 6th speed sliding (sub for aa5505r) 15 teeth

And this last part I cannot tell for sure but the number appears to be aa156r or a4156r This is the short shaft right behind th first reduction gear. If any can confirm this number or reccomend a supllier for these parts it would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks Jerry

There is a serial# break at #657392-657393 & my parts book shows different parts. The later tractor is shown as using part # AA5471R, subbed from #AA4850R. My understanding is that you need the shaft that the 1st reduction gear actually attaches to, & this the # my parts book shows for this part.

Jerry- I have a 50 model A that I have for parts. The trans. is still in the tractor yet. I don't know if my 50 will mesh with your 52, but if it does I have parts for sale.

If I am not mistaken the 50 will have the double gearshift and the 52 I know is the single gearshift, so is the 51

Leroy- What do you mean by a single and a double gear shift, just that it has a high and low?

The early tractors had a 2 speed transmission with a over dr for 4 speed, next series had 3 speed with over dr, later had a 6 speed with no overdrive
