I rebuilt the governor in my B because the thrust bearing balls were gone and found the other bearings wore out to.The weight arms were wore to so I bought new ones.I went by what the parts book said (Furnish two Ac667R when ab295r is ordered in pairs for tractors B60000-B81668)My sn is 73108.I bought the ac667r weights. It had the AB295R weights. Also put in a new lever. The governor did work fine before the work.

Now with the rebuilt gov there is not much throttle .Had more rpm on throttle wide open before rebuild .Now on low idle it has a hard time smothing out.Seems like the gov spring is not stiff enough for the heavier weights. Also if I pull throttle all the way open it wants to like choke the engine.Did not do that before.Let off full throttle it is ok but not as fast as before.

Does run and go But not as good as before rebuild. Any thoughts??

Sounds like the different parts are not letting the governor do it's job. Did the parts dealer not have the right ones or did the old numbers sub to your new parts?
