I bought an Oliver 880 and it has a John Deere loader on it. This is a straight framed loader that attaches to the axle and a post that sticks up from the axle. It has a single action cylinder and two trip buckets, one with a homemade snow wing on it.

I assume this loader is worth scrap price?

I don't have a model number but there is a serial number. I'm guessing it's from the 1950's or earlier.

sounds like a 45A loader, it is worth about $150-$500, depending on condition, your location and how bad someone wants it.

sound like you have a #45 loader, you could get kits from Deere to put them on off color tractors.
I would say that it is worth scape if not alot more. Saw one sell for over $1000 once. I would junk the 880 and buy a 70D and put the loader on it.

If you take his advice, I have just the 70D you need!
