Maybe cuz its cold out?? Anywho, my dern puter is still slow as mollasses when I post a reply here (otherwise seems fine elsewhere on the net) PLUS it double or triple posts??

I have the absolute latest McAfee anti viris updates and software and have scanned many times for viruses.

I have ran Spy Bot and removed tracking cookies and software and spys, bots, etc.

I clean my cache of cookies and temp internet files and garbage daily.

I keep my Start Up and Systray clean, nuttin running in any backgrounds (lower right toolbar) except Explorer and Systray if I run ctrl alt delete. If I run msconfig, theres nuttin thats not needed in the start up tab folder.

Im on DSL running a PC with Windows XP including ALL critical and other updates checked daily.

Whats wrong?? Why slow and double post on YT Mag?? Im wondering if my sons use of KaZaa (even tho only running with the minimum of tracking it requires) is the problem??? I may uninstall it and try I guess. Anybody else had the problem on YT Mag???

Thanks n God Bless yall

John T

I have noticed the same problem. Viewing photo ads are also very slow, and locks up freqently. Clooney said it right. It's the YT site. Others work fine. As a JD enthusiast/collector, but a computer technician by trade, in my opinion, it's not your computer, it's the YT site.

John, make sure your son has the virus blocker installed when using KaZaa. Even though we have all the virus blockers, we still received a virus from Kazaa when my daughter was downloading last winter. Puter went down big time!!!! Kazaa's site has a place where the virus blocker can be disabled and most young people aren't aware of it. Mark..

Since you brought it up, I have a somewhat simular problem. If I post a message and click "Submit Follow Up", and say I need to correct spelling of a word. I hit the back button and everything is gone. Use to not be that way. Most of the time, becouse I type with only one finger and have to look for each letter, I just forget it and don't post anything. Does this happen to anyone else.

John, you answered your own question..."(otherwise seems fine elsewhere on the net)"....

~It's this site.. YT has been acting slow to accept the posts lately.. Just post as usual, then allow it to try for about 20-30 seconds, then close YT & re-enter,, your post will be there every time.. [try it,, it works]..

When the Board does not reply with "Message Posted", I just open another browser window, navigate to the Board, and verify that my post is showing up, and then close the original browser window.
