Going to a sale tomarrow morning, but looked over everything tonight. Theres a set of wheel weights off A/B/G series cast wheels, I've seen them before and am sure about them. But with them is another set, and I dont know what they fit on. They are maybe 4 inches wider than the other kind, have what seems to be holes for handles cast in, and have round centers like the 1st set (not "z" like the newer style). Also they look to mount by 2 bolts oppisite each other, and have 2 sets of mounting holes like this. Around 100 lbs. I couldnt find any casting numbers. They look nothing like the 4020 style, these are thicker. Any ideas to what they fit on. I know its hard to go just by a description, but maybe someone who has a set like this will recignize what I'm talking about. I wish I could have taken a picture! I think I'm going to try and get both sets and worry about mounting them later, ha. Thanks for any help.

I think I know what you are looking at. John Deere sold them as a pair. The larger diameter, weights are F&H. The smaller diameter thicker weights have the same bolt pattern and will fit the A/B/G, but were usually added as a second weight to the F&H. The casting number, etc. are on the back side of the smaller diameter weights.

I think you are talking about a later version that was available for the late A/B/G. I have a set in the back end of the shop along with the earlier "doughnuts". I'm pretty sure they can be mounted together. They do not fit my AR however, but think they will mount on a D which has a larger diameter wheel.

Well I bought both sets, the smaller and larger. Have a G, D, and 730 so I figured I could make them work on something. The smaller ones are like I see all over my area on A's and G's. The larger I've never seen before. The larger wieghts would just barly not clear the hub clamp on the G, so I put the smaller diameter set on first (fit perfect) and then the other set bolted right on top of them, don't look too bad either. Now the G looks like its ready to farm. I didnt have a scale to weigh them but they have to be over 100lbs. Seemed like 500lbs by the time I got them to the truck, ha. Thanks for the help.

Are the larger ones F&H? Dad had those drill out to fit his 730, with the 3 hole pattern. And yes they barely clear the hub. I now have the set on my 60.

I've never seen F&H weights so I dont really know what they are. I looked all over the back of both sets for some kind of casting number or mark but didnt see anything. But they were repainted over some pretty rough stuff and it marks might have got covered. I'm going to pressure wash them next chance I get. Sounds right though, my G's wheels use weights with 2 mounting holes and the large ones matched. My brother has 2 sets of 3 hole weights on the 730, but they wouldnt work without a homemade bracket on the G so I was glad these fit. Yeah, its real close around that hub, I would have to take a grinder and just shave the middle of the weight a little and they'd slide right on I think. They have the usual hand holds, one on each side to mount them, and then have what I guess is another handle cast in the wieght, and thats oppisite a small round opening cast in the wieght too. Then it has the 2 sets of mounting holes I mentioned before. Sound like we're talking about the same thing? Thanks for the help.
