I just got home from an auction and bought a new toy I think Im really gonna fall in love with lol. I go to 2 auctions per week, and tonight went to the Amish owned Dinkys Auction in Odon (Amish Country) Indiana. I came across this straight, clean, original cherry JD 110 that the grandkids were selling that their grandfather, 83 year old John Henry from Edinburgh Indiana, had bought new and you can tell by looking, it was ALWAYS kept in a garage. I even got the original Owners Manual where the owner had written in the Serial Numers etc. and the grandkids just had it serviced and a new battery. It runs like a sweetheart with NO SMOKE. Its one of those that I would not dare ever touch with paint (maybe edges of wheels), I think they look best unrestored and original and are worth more than a restored one if they are in that straight cherry original condition. I will, however, detail it immaculate, maybe touch up paint some black on the Kohler engine and shine the black n fuel lines n tires and install some chrome wheel covers. I JUST LOVE finding those 1 owner straight original Deeres of any kind, and have went to auctions almost 40 years and its so fun to come across those straight original units. Such are never cheap, I gave $535 for this but plant to detail it immaculate and maybe haul it to shows instead of having to lug around those darn big heavy tractors for a change lol. I will post a pic of it tmorrow if I get a chance. I gotta research Lawn n Garden now for wheel covers and info etc on the 110 series. Its not the old type with the separate fenders, its a later 110.

Good Night all n God Bless
