Hi, I have a wrench marked H512R. Socket end on one end and box-end on the other. What was it made for, the model H?

Greg S is right, it's a flywheel wrench. It may fit several tractors, but it is is definitely shown in the Parts Catalog PC-330 for the styled B tractors.

There is a master cross-reference CD out there that maybe someone has and can look up that part number. It may be useable on several different tractors.

Jimbo - The box end is for your flywheel nuts. The kinks in the wrench can vary, depending on whether you have electric start or not. Never did figure out what the other end was supposed to be for.

Jimbo, as far as I can tell it was used on the B, BR, BO, & H.. I believe there were a couple of different versions of that wrench depending on the supplier to Deere.. [at least that’s what I have penciled in my little pocket ledger here]..
