Need a source on some one who deals with MT's.
In need of a block and rear wheels for a start.
One I have is cracked down both sides of bell
housing, was this common on the MT? Will a block
from a M work? How many MT's came with a wide
front end? Front end on this tractor looks very
much like a M with the hub caps. Can not find
sn# tag. Where should this be? Any help on my
questions are appreciated. Going to bring this
one back to life. Thanks for any reply. Jim

I've got a couple of MT wheels and tires. One wheel pretty well gone, tire pretty old. Other wheel ok and tire 90%+. Both have calcium in them. Located in NE Missouri. email me at farmboy213@mchsi.com if you are interested.

The block casting number is M64T. Did you notice this on yours?

Jim the blocks are the same for both tractors. If you can't find the serial number where Wayne said you can check some other things. The "M" grill doesn't have a hole in the front center of it. The final drives on the "MT" are staight out, where the "M" finals come out and than hang down. The axles on the "MT" will be longer if some one has not cut them off. The "MT" is bigger then the "M" also. The "MT" has dual touch-o-matic controls in front of the seat for the hydraulics.

Jim, John Shepard at 715-265-4988 may have parts you need or point you to someone.
I believe the M and MT block are the same.
Usually the blocks get broken there when someone is breaking the tractor apart and has let it fall.
I don't know if there are any records on how many wide fronts, most were tricycles.
If it has hubcaps, it may be an M. The MT will have 34 inch rear wheels.
The serial number tag should be mounted at the igintion switch on the dash.
I have an old MT dash that still has the tag.
Good luck, Wayne.
