What if a person were to want to buy a NEW 3-bottom 3-pt hitch (classII) moldboard plow? Does anybody still make such a critter? I know they can still be found used at auctions and in the classifieds, but I can not find one NEW. Unless I am mistaken, the last I knew, Deere's smallest was a 4-bottom. And other manufacturers make 1 or 2 bottom plows. Just can't seem to find a NEW 3-bottom! I would guess the answer is hobby farmers with compact tractors use 1&2 bottoms and real farmers jump to at least a 4-bottom nowadays. Its tough being in the middle!!!!! !!!1

I know of a new 3 bottom fully mounted Ford Plow. Unfortunately it has been sitting outside. E-Mail if interested.

Some of the John Deere 4 bottom plows are convertable to 3 bottom. You just take one bottom off.

Deere still offers the model 975 REVERSABLE PLOW, in a 3 bottom, but it probably isn't cheap. Plow "technology" hasn't progressed any in the last 25 years. Any of the good models left over from an earlier time, could be rebuilt, and last for years to come. I have a 3 bottom Ford model 101 that I've "made new again" and put away spare parts while they are still around. I'd check on various websites to see if anyon still sells a 3 bottom plow. Try Agco, in particular Massey Ferguson. Good luck on your search. John
