Well, I got the gears I was looking for from a local guy here in n,w, Mo, Had to pull the gears myself but I got a better deal that way. It sure was cold though 0 degrees when I finished and it had warmed up durning my little venture. It was so cold I couldn't get the gears off of the countershaft there must have been just a trace of moisture on em. had to take a propane torch and heat em up just a little.
I got the tactor back together last night and then I she would run worth a darn. So toady I fiddled with the carb idle needle and she idled down nicley. Then I started the tedious process of removing what appears to be about three old paint jobs.

Well Thanks to all who post, and share your knowledge. I wouold be lost on a lot of this stuff with out this board.
