What are the basic specifications I need to give my shipper on a 1941 JD B.

If I had to guess I would say 3,000 pounds?

I don't want to argue with my friend Jon C., but my operator's manual for my '41 B say 3096 lbs on steel and 3140 on rubber with pressed steel wheels. Add some for cast rear wheels, of course. Also, the 3140 probably does not count anything for fluid in the tires.

Go with Stan's numbers...his are more accurate as he has one, and I don't.

Its my understanding that Johnnypopper.com numbers sometimes vary depending on what was on the at the time of the nebraska test.

Jon,

You're absolutely right about how they might have been configured during tests. I haven't weighed mine all at once on a scale, so I don't know exactly what it weighs. I did weigh it on a smaller scale, one wheel at a time (fronts together, of course). I don't remember what it weighed, but it didn't come out to 3,140#.

Good Guess....according to Johnnypopper.com its 2880 lbs.....but I"m not sure what wheels were on it, and if it included fluids.
