Jim, Why don't you take the quick coupler ends (at the hose ends) off to see if some crud is blocking the ball and seat...also make sure the hose is plugged in good and the little lever is swung all the way to lock it once it's pluuged into the tractor....once while drilling wheat , the lever, or lock...whatever you call it, popped partway back and the drill did not fully go down , had some weird looking rows.... could be moisture freezing in there too, at the narrow orfice( ball and seat) I wish you luck....Keep warm! Uncle

Are you talking about the brake away valve in the back or the control valve in the dash?

Sounds like its set for single acting cylinders, there a way to set it for double but I don't know how its done. If you have a manaul or a dealer close one of them could tell you. You could also maybe go to johndeere.com and ask

It operates a dozer blade and has been working well untel yesterday. Started getting slower and slower so I parked it. Today it would only work in one derection. I got a book. Couldn't find any help in the trouble shooting index. JD rebuilt the quick disconect valve about 30 hrs ago!

AK is ALASKA no it is not ice it was in a warm garage all night. I live 62 miles north of Anchorage. AR= Arkansas. I think the problem is in the remote brake away valve.

Thanks to all.
