Went to start my 855 the other day, it started to turn over and then I hit 1 of the hydro pedals accidently and it stopped turning over, now it won't turn over again. I suspect the neutral safety switch, but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where this is located? Thanks.....Mike

The switch is on the hydro linkage on the RH side of the hydro pump. Take off the cover over the tunnel between your legs (4 bolts) and the panel that goes between the fenders just below the front of the seat. You'll have to remove a few knobs. The switch has a long wiring lead on it that goes to a connector on top of the transmission behind the panel below the set. You should be able to unplug this connector and jump the wires to test if the problem is the switch or not.

Mike:

I have an 855 as well, and I think the Neutral Start Switch is located inside the frame on the pedal side. Have you tried tapping one pedal then the other pedal with your foot? That always frees mine up if its sticking.

If you dont't find it by the weekend, I can look it up in my manual, but I'm on the road right now.
