I was at a farm sale and purchased some JD D parts and their were two Brass carbs one with a water valve and I was wondering what they would have come off of and what their value would be? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

The one with the water vavle is more than likely from a -D-. The other one could also be from a early-AO-/-AR- or a -GP-. I am looking for one for a -AO- so if you are interested in selling let me know the # on the carb and a price. The number should be on the side of the main body. Stamped DLTX __.

John,
You likely have either DLTX-3 (all bronze) or DLTX-6 (bronze body, cast iron fuel bowl) Marvel Schebler carburetors. The -3 was for D's from 49774 - 109943, and the -6 was used on D's from 109944 - 128110. It could also be a DLTX-1, used from 39907 - 46767, but they are a bit more rare. The numbers should be stamped near the top center of the carburetors.
