Does anyone know if there are plans out there for these tractors?? Like for a styled D. Or do these guys just build them for scratch?

Dave;Look in the tractor photos, there are 3 pics of a half scale 730 that I built for my kids about 10 years age I used 55% as a scale so I could use available wheels and tires. This tractor was more of a toy than a model.I'm now working on a 51 A scale model for some relatives kids. Lary

Dave,

A while back there was a picture under tractor photos of a mini tractor. Do a search for Larry, and about 5 or 6 down is a 4020 mini. He's also built an L mini, and is currently working on a mini 730.

Hi Dave, I haven't come across any plans for building the scale tractors. Most people choose a frame/engine combination from a garden tractor and go from there. It's a good idea to have a full sized model close by to take measurements from as you build each scaled down part.It took me 11 months to build my 2/3 scale "D".....was quite a challenge but a real rewarding experience and we sure have a lot of fun with it. Let me know if I can be of any help.....good luck, Rich

I would like to build a scale model of an "A", "G", or "D" using a large garden tractor and an "LUC" combine engine, laid on it's side, with the flywheel housing milled off. Has anyone attempted such a project?

Bob, yes I have seen an unstyled "D" made with a "LUC" engine..... made a different oil pan etc. Looked pretty good..... ..had the two-cylinder sound. Have a good day, Rich
